How about some mind mapping?

Mind mapping is a really useful way of organising your thinking and many schools have invested in software such as Inspiration which works brilliantly with an interactive whiteboard. However, the team at 3Pi are always on the lookout for 'no cost' options which are accessible to anyone with an internet connection, and one that is great for mind mapping is a wee Web2 tool from bubbl.us . It is very simple to use and lets students create effective mind maps quickly.
Check it out, we think you will be impressed.

Bubble-Us is free, but it is very restrictive. I would strongly suggest another Inspiration product - still free - called webspiration. Bubble us allows for very little of the free form brainstorming. Mind Meister is better too.

Mind mapping is great. Free is great. Bubble Us is not great.

Fair enough Jesse. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I agree that it is restrictive, but the simplicity is very attractive when using it with primary age children. Thanks for the link to webspiration - it does look very good.
